    WML trade wanted.

So, I recently scored a like-new surefire x300 ultra, but I wasn't paying attention and apparently the B model doesn't like my polymer framed pistols.

Anybody have an A model you'd like to swap? This has the T lock, which according to SF, prefers metal frame pistols and 1913. Failing a swap, does anybody know if conversion parts are available?

Rich? Jerry? Doc? Any other 1911 shooters?

I've got a couple of B's on Glocks. Does yours not fit?

    It seems super tight.

Unless you plan to move it around constantly to other guns and back, super tight, not always a bad thing...

Is that what you notice with your Glocks?

The one thing to worry about with that mounting method on Glocks is over tightening it. If it's too tight it makes the frame too rigid which causes cycling issues.

And dont over tighten the thumb screw either. Have heard of those breaking off. How about a small file with some 1000 grit sand paper wrapped around it. Just take off a little at a time until you get the right fit...

I've done this with all of my A models. I'll leave the Glock rail attachment on the light, but then lightly sand one of the "male" portions of the light so it can slip far enough back on the pic rail on my Sigs. Still completely tight on my Glocks, but also fits the Sigs without having to swap out mounts, which is an annoying process.

Got it. Thanks fellas. I wasn't pussin' it, but it sure felt like more than enough to attach a light. Just a little more mustard got things hooked up!
