I just throw a couple of speed strips in my front pocket. Works pretty good.

I have never carried the speed strips. How do they feel in your pocket? Do they bunch up or are they stiff? How secure is the ammo in the strip?

They are stiff enough to not bunch up and soft enough to be comfortable. I've never had bullets come out in my pocket. YMMV

Early in my career I carried a Model 38 (5 shot LW, concealed hammer) as a back-up. It also did some time as an off-duty weapon. I used the Bianchi Speed Strips. They were easy to carry, not uncomfortable and rounds stayed put. While I did practice loading, I could never get totally comfortable with it. Speed loaders were obviously much faster, but more bulky to carry.

They're out of stock now and it's not a pouch, but these looked pretty handy:

I tried searching, but couldn't find their site.
