I’m going to do a 55gr, 69gr, and 77gr accuracy test with my 1:7 FN barrel so when I’m able to swap them out I can compare the two

I have one of the original Select barrels and it's definitely a shooter. I'm glad they brought this line back to life.
While I am not as obsessed with pure accuracy as much as of late (speaking only of the reloading side of things) I did a 10 shot group that was under .7 inches measuring from outside edges with a select barrel.

The First few years BHW had the Select Barrels dialed in. Consistently got sub-MOA with those barrels. After that the barrels went downhill... and fast until the demise of BHW.
Rainier has the guy who turns their Match/UltraMatch line doing the Select Barrels, so I imagine these will be shooters.

I have a 16” Rainier Arms Select barrel in a rifle I keep neglecting to either update or repurpose; it just never gets shot as is. It was always an accurate shooter and it’s just barely broke in at under 500 rounds. The problem is the rifle is dated and heavy- 15” Troy/VTAC rail, Tactical Link Enhanced Battery Assist Lever AND Z-360 sling mount, bunch of old crap. That barrel deserves better.

Ahhh the VTAC rail... a classic.
Too bad Black Hole couldn't keep up the quality. Those old select barrels were shooters. Rainier bought out almost all the barrels they had right before BHW went under. I think these new ones will be as good if not better since the UltraMatch, Match guy is turning them.
