The S&W 296 Airlite Ti has sparked my interest in the rest of the Airlite Ti series that S&W produced in the early 2000s. I'm my eye out for other models in 44 Magnum, 357 Magnum, 38 Special, etc. I came across this one on GunBroker.

This S&W Model 342 Airlite Ti was manufactured in 1999, and the Dymondwood boot grip was a factory upgrade only available that year. Just over 11 oz unloaded, the 342 Airlite Ti is the lightest weight center fire revolver made by S&W. While it is rated for 38 Special +P ammunition, I do not think it will be pleasant to shoot.
