    here it is!!

So I am done. I have used a ton of advice from this site.
I tried to use some of Stick's images as inspiration but they did not come out near as good....
The painted stock looks way different in pictures. the flash on the camera really makes the tones look different than the other actual FDE parts. In person it is not that obvious??!! Anyway, I suspect that most of you here know what you are talking about and use your weapons for duty or at least on a regular basis..... I wanted to build mine after Katrina,...I did not want to take the chance on being unprepared if something like that happened in Houston. So, that being said, there are little items on mine (like the painted Magpul logo's) that serve no purpose but I think look good...and I am a fan of the small details.

I would love to go into what is on my weapon but I imagine ya'll will be able to spot and identify most of it :) The only thing you can't see is the Young Mfg Chrome BCG

Thanks to everyone for all your help...she shoots great and looks good!!

How do those sights work out with that high rail and low Aimpoint mount? Can you take a picture through the tube and the sights at the same time? Something like the one on the left here.

Nice work. I agree that the color fill adds a nice touch. What are you using for your camera/lens/flash set up?

    thanks guys....

Rob S, I just got my MBUS' in and they were the last thing to put on (maybe three days ago). I plan on getting some shooting done this weekend and while I am out there I will take some pictures and report back on how it did and put the pictures up of what I saw. I did not necessarily want to put the sites that high but because of the CASV-M set up there was not enough of the rail on my upper left hanging out the back to put my rear site on.

adrenaline151, sorry man. I just have the one,...I only painted half of it though. I liked the flow of having FDE colors on the bottom and all the black on the top througout the length of the weapon. Now if I could have found a FDE UBR anywhere there is not a whole lot that I would not have given for it :)

zero7one, I am using a Nikon D40x 10.2 MP with a 18-55mm lens. I not using an external flash or anything but rather the built in speed light. The lighting in my office is pretty poor and the pictures I took without the flash where not good at all.....so anyway,...pretty standard camera set up.
