    .22-250 Varmit on an AR Platform?

    I was thinking of buying a .22-250 varmit heavy barrrel, but the thought of building one on an AR platform has crossed my mind, also. Anyone here done this? Opinions about sporter vs. AR platform? Thanks ahead.
