Still doesn't address the gap as well as I'd like.

I wish the MOE grip just came with a built-in gapper for $5, or even $10, more. Or that the MIAD front strap that has the molded-in triggerguard didn't have that little bump on it.

A pretty cheap and functional item for people who are looking for something a little extra on their carbine.

I love magpul stuff, but what's the advantage (besides being a LITTLE cheaper) than the standard aluminum version?

    Still cool though.

You've got to remember that the MOE lineup is designed as an OEM alternative for manufacturers. For a manufacturer, its a nice option when dropped on thousands of weapons being sold to make them stand apart. For individual sales, it doesn't mean much, most of us are more than willing to slap on whatever we like after we buy the weapon in its basic form.

I did notice there was a small gap/edge that I wish was filled in a bit more. However, it is better than the gap experienced with the standard trigger guard in place.

Eric, it's that little edge at the back that gets me, and it happens with the metal version too. It can be seen both in your picture and the ones at the start of the thread. They need to add just a bit more material to the very back end of the trigger guard to get it even with, or slightly below, the "wings". At least in your picture it looks less bad than in the Magpul pics.
