Latest rattle can project underway
Instead of making my own decals and stencils this time from painters tape, I bought some vinyl ones from WeaponWorks, specifically Bottomlands. I kinda like Granite also so if I mess this up, I’ll get those haha. Only problem with buying these versus cutting my own, these are just ALL over the vinyl sheets and no method to the madness. It’s not like Sheet one stencils are for the base layer, sheet two are larger for covering second coat etc. You just have to figure it out which kinda isn’t my favorite
Step one prep and clean no pics. Normally I’ll slide a paper towel tube or two over the barrel under the rail but this time I said nahhh. Im also not camoing my suppressor, just spraying a flat khaki. I have some camo wrap on my Steiner but I’m debating doing it flat khaki also
Step two: base coat khaki
Apply decals:
Next coat: espresso brown
Will update later with next steps once brown cures

Looks very good! What kind of paint did you use on the can? Anything special or just the same stuff?

Just regular krylon khaki. It’s gonna get scraped up and cooked some but that’s all right by me

I like it. The solid can, scope and mag complement well.
