ar-15 gas block
my rifle has 2 gas blocks the one that is the sight was moved futher up the barrel and the hole for the gas tube has been threaded does that matter or should i just buy a new sight/gas block

Sounds like possibly a dissipator model. Do you have pics that we can reference?

What does "the hole for the gas tube has been threaded" mean?
I agree with powder, it sounds like you have a Bushmaster Dissipator which has a low profile gas block at the 7.0 location and a full "dummy" FSB at the 12.0 spot.WWW.TACTICALYELLOWVISOR.NET
