RRA Upgrade???
I've got an RRA CAR-A4 with the heavy chrome moly barrel. It's setup with a DD 10" lite rail.
I'm contemplating ordering a DD Middy barrel and putting it on my DDM4 with a 12" lite rail and moving the carbine length barrel to the RRA, I'll also swap out the receiver extension for a milspec one at the same time.
Should I swap out the std buffer in the RRA at the same time? It's a carbine buffer.
The BCG has already had the gotm4 treatment.

I would leave the carbine buffer in for the midlength, especially if you shoot weaker/ cheaper ammo. As far as changing out the barrels, it sounds like a good plan if you don't mind dropping the money, of course this would also be a nice to do start doing some of this work yourself.....
