Hi all,
My first post here on this great site. I was a Glock carrier for many years, have had an early G17, G19, G21, and was later issued a G30 (which was returned to the department when I transferred). I also have/had railed G22 and G23, a G27 and a G26. I was a GREAT supporter of the Glock, until I had several functioning issues with my G22 + M3 light, which was used as an entry weapon. Many other deputies on my department also had similar function problems with their G22's with lights mounted. My G22 was "repaired" by Glock, but without any direct explanation as to the cause of the problems. As a result of that incident, I lost faith in the system...with regard to a flexible frame having a light assembly mounted.
Since that time, I retired the G22 and the G23. I will probably give the G22 to my son (non-LEO), but I have to keep the G23 forever!!!... I sold the G27, got a G26, which I love and carry often off-duty. Now for duty, I got two SIGs, a 226R and 229R. Both of these weapons are great, and I will carry them both until I retire. I use the 226R as a tactical entry gun with a TLR-1, and the 229 is my daily plain clothes carry gun.Take Care,
JJ

no pix, but my 9mm Walther PPS has become my EDC.
very happy with this little gun either as a primary on my hip or as a back up in a Desantis pocket holster or an ankle rig. very versatile little shooter
i've thought about getting one in .40 too, but i'm trying to hold off on that. i'm very happy with the 9mm and with Speer Gold Dots i don't feel too undergunned.

Hello,
I'm mostly found with a 9mm Browning High Power, and sometimes with a .40 caliber High Power, or my other favorite platform, The M1911."LONG LIVE THE FN-BROWNING-SAIVE HIGH POWER"

Fighting Anti-Gun Tyrants & Traitors is a 24/7 Job that Must be Done!
I'd rather beat a bad guy to death with my Browning High Power, than shoot him dead with a plastic pistol.

USP40 Compact or USP45 Compact... just depends on which ever one I feel like on any given day. Hopefully I can add a Glock 19 soon as it's much cheaper to shoot these days.

Sometimes it's my Sig P239 in 9mm, but no matter what, I have my 638 S&W Bodyguard in a Kramer pocket holster and a Bianchi speed strip for a re-load. If I am out in the woods or back country, probably a S&W 686 or Kimber 1911.
