I hate going to bed when news like this is brewing because it is usually something like a new Noveske/Magpul release, and because of the time difference, I've no real chance of finding out about it in time.

Nice to see that nothing broke overnight, anyway. :)

I sure hope not. I really want to pick up a N4 Light Low Profile and it seems like I will never get one if they keep pumping out special items.

This week Magpul has released the ACS, the enhanced stock pad, and the EMAG to dealers/ distributors. Its been done quietly, but they are all tricking into the hands of your favorite Magpul vendor.

Stick, from the Magpul brochure you posted, it appears the ACS needs an optional attachment to allow QD button sling swivels. Will Ranier be stocking those?

No idea if they will or not, especially as the QD mounts aren't released yet. My guess would be that they will, as will most other Magpul dealers.

Maybe they left them off so people would use the ASAP plate instead of the QD... that's what I'm going to do.

My thought is that its not worth including a part that most shooters are not going to use. You are raising the price on an item for no real reason.

Completely agreed. If this was a UBR or something where you COULDN'T use an ASAP, maybe it'd be a bad break for consumers.
