AIM uses Faxon and pins some of them. It's the only place I know to get a retailer pinned Faxon barrel.

I'm surprised since the writing looks just like every BA barrel I have. I figured it was either one of those two.

Huh...ya I figured BA or faxon.. Shit that code knocks it down to $120 shipped for a 16" nitrided barrel with pinned gas block..

I stand corrected. Based on the description of the Modern series BA barrels, the aim barrels have to be rebadged BAs.

Here is BAs same barrel. Add $40 for pinned gas block. The AIM is a screaming deal.

AIM also does pinned Faxon barrels. Looking over their site, the Faxon barrels are called Faxon barrels.

I canceled my Monmouth order and went with the aim deal. Agreed, $120 to my door for a 16" middy was to good to pass up.

Looks more like BA's engraving as the faxons I've seen were marked completely different, marked more near the muzzle and a logo by the extension

I asked Brian from AIM about those barrels over in the industry forum on ar15 and he wouldn't say who the barrels are from but they were a good company and a site supporter over there..

If they want to hide their source, they shouldn't copy paste the manufacture's description.

    From BA:

Our 5.56 chambered 16 inch Government Profile Mid-Length Modern Series Barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension.

Just got a 16" fortis night rail from DVOR for $220. Price is good for one more day I think. Shorter ones are cheaper yet. 1-3 week lead time, but I can live with it for the price.
