That's an accurate statement. What got me into reloading was hanging out there.

    PEPR
    Being cheap
    Sense of humor

    Since y'all brought it up...

I'm always on the lookout for something. Found a used PEPR for $25. Dropped it in the AR parts box and forgot about. A couple years later I put together a CMMG dedicated .22. Got a Bushnell 1-4x from Palmetto on a Christmas sale while Bushnell was also giving rebates. Total cost $39 (about all they're worth really... but I digress). I'm thinking the PEPR will work nicely except that it's got those tacticalized rail thingie caps. So... I call Burris customer service and explain to one of their nice young ladies that if I show up at the club with these tacticoolerizing railed caps the boys will terminate my gate card. She laughed... then asked for my address and sent me smooth caps free of charge. How great is that, right?
A big shout-out to Burris and their crew.

And is that were you store the backup rear site until you can use it on a different rifle?

This comes up rarely and in small quantities. This price is over $100 below what it was last year. The best value in 77gr 556 at around .57/round.

Huge liquidation sale. Many parts and components and reloading supplies all on a fire sale. Lots of really good deals.

    That's right.

The AR parts box gets kinda full so it helps to save space by storing things on different rifles. See the front sight is cleverly parked on the handguard.

Looks like Larue is selling stripped lowers again. They did a quick run a few years back so not sure if this is permanent or not.

From all of the Larue emails I get, it seems to me that LT is getting squeezed in this market just like everyone else and they're just trying to make sales. Other than the occasional MBT sales, one thing that would help is if they brought some of their prices back down to pre-Newtown levels.
