Of course I have a few weapons I want to buy and/or build out but I want to invest in a lot more reloading supplies in 2018. Bullets, powder and lots and lots of primers. I have an ok stash now in most things but I want to double or triple up on everything. Maybe I am still paranoid from the Obama era about ammo shortages.

Sooner than that. When reserves eventually drop, via this kind of attrition, prices can go back where manufacturers want them.

I kind of agree, but supply is still flush. Until we see people going out of business, which I think we will soon, I think prices will remain low until at least the mid-terms.

I'm fine with the budget guys getting shots at upgrading their gear for cheap, but I'd really like for SCARs and MRs to move into my price range. Unfortunately, they have the Colt phenomenon on their side with govt contracts, and less focus on the civillian market, and no need to control pricing because of controlled production. The demand for high-end stuff never goes away.

Spoke to the FN guys at TRIGGRCON. Not enough SCARs to import in sufficient numbers currently. If they were widely available, they're never going to be as cheaper than around 2k.

I should have grabbed up a 17 when they were sub $2300.

Can't blame you. I think I sold off 20k worth of stuff. Crowning achievement for me 20+ LR20 Mags for $90 each. In hindsight I should have sold off my entire collection at the time, and just repurchased everything I wanted with cash to spare later.... or dumped it all into bitcoins and retired.

Damn mega got a maten set right before they announced they were merging... now the Zev set looks great and doesn't match with the Mega (308) lame. Gotta find a lower before they're unobtainium
