I snatched up a set as soon as I realized they were out. Feels far superior to that plastic CH & damned OEM, 90-degree safety. Also added a set of Geissele Colt 901 pins that extended all the way to the edge of the receiver body on each side. Should prevent the pins from walking and causing any additional kerfluffle ala the Appleseed people.

If that's too obscure, about two years ago the Appleseed folks banned S&W 15-22 rifles from being used in their program because there were five incidents, involving out-of-battery firing, etc. I believe they could almost all be related to the pins walking. The longer Colt 901 pins fit flush with the exterior of the receiver, not indented when installed. So there's more friction as well as spring tension holding them in place, and they shouldn't be as likely to walk as the shorter (regular) AR hammer & trigger pins.

Side note did you see that s&w will send you a “check guage” to see if the cutout is deep enough on the bcg/step.I emailed them just for that number. First reply was order the kit, register etc,.. no reply when I said you could save on shipping and just give me the damn number..lol..mines never had a hiccup , but I guess I’d like the check it.

I did! Jumped through their hoops, waiting on the gauge. Rimfire central says people have measured the gauge they received and it's .0355" depth.
