    Ammo?

What type and brand of ammo should I be using for my LWRC M6A3? I will mainly be using it for range fun and coyote hunting. I hear Hornady Tap 75 gr is good for the hunting I will be doing and to use cheap ammo like PMC 55gr for range plinking? I know I need match grade ammo to zero my rifle and I can get 100o rounds of PMC for $399. The Hornady is expensive but I want and need good ammo for hunting, zeroing in my rifle and home protection so whats the best stuff to use?

    Thanks

The PMC is decent ammo, but in general, it is pretty dirty, and underpowered.

AIM has the Prvi Partisan 62gr. FMJ ammo available for about $375/1000rds + shipping, which is a pretty good deal. I just ordered a 200rd pack for myself to try in my new franken middy. The heavier 62gr bullet should shoot slightly better in you LWRCi's 1/7 barrel than the 55gr does.

I sighted my 1/7 middy in with Prvi Partisan 75gr. which, if you're using the hornady for hunting/self defense, could save you some change for range/training/plinking. I haven't tried it but it should shoot a similar POI.

I tried the PP 62gr. and xm193 55gr along with the 75gr to see which one my barrel liked better. it was pretty close but the 75gr won.

plan to take the rifle out coyote hunting when the season opens here as well.

+1 for PRVI ammo. I have 1k each of there 75grn BTHP and 69 grn. BTHP and it shoots as good as my 75grn Hornady TAP out of my LWRC and my home build. I just ordered 1k rnds of PRVI's M855 and hope that it's as good as the rest of my PRVI stock.

You can find PRVI ammo for a good price at Ammoman.com and Wideners I believe. The have the 62grn. M855 mil-spec ammo and a 62grn. full copper jacket bullet for a little less. I haven't seen there 75grn. stuff in a while.

    Thanks
