New AR - with pics
I've been following Weapon Evolution for several months and here's the result..
Denny's upper
- Noveske 16 inch SS 1:7 barrel
- Standard A2 FH
- Noveske SS block
- DD 12 inch M4 rail
- Young NM BCG
- Magpul BUIS (the rear is on my Bushmaster)
Denny's lower
- I replaced the trigger with a Timney 4 lb single stage
- Magpul ACS stock
I've been shooting bulk Fiocchi 55 and some vintage Malaysian M193. Here are a couple of 20 round groups at 50 yards.

Nice. Mid-length or carbine gas system?

Sweet!
Eric, if I'm not mistaken the barrel has a mid-length gas system.
(that is, if it's the same type of ss noveske barrel i have sitting in my safe waiting for the rest of the rifle to show up! lol)

Sweet rig. Denny does a nice job on his builds. He has forgotten more about AR15s than most people know. I recommend him highly for custom builds.

I really like the ACS. Stick did a great review on the ACS and I agree with his conclusions.
I have a standard m4 style stock on my Bushmaster and I also tried the Vltor EMod before the ACS came out. The Vltor is very good but it just felt a little too heavy on the carbines. The ACS feels more balanced and I like the locking feature.
I would definately recommend the ACS.
Here's a pic with the Vltor in Foliage
