Question AR-15 Multi tool ..... best one for the money???

I am looking for one of these and have done some research nad have read that some of these are "not so good" as the break, chip, strip etc.

Can anyone recommend one that is under $30?

    Thanks.

More than you wanted to spend but IMO it is worth the difference.

There is a review here under Product Reviews by Stickman.

    Brownells has them also.

Interesting tool. However, I avoid Botach like the plague.

DK9mm, are you talking about these kind of multitools or an armorer's wrench?

I am looking for something that will allow me to put my build together. Stock, muzzle device, barrel nut, etc.

    Like this.....http://www.del-ton.com/ProductDetail...uctCode=TL1020

What is the difference between the armorers tool and the multi tool?

DK, The link you posted would be an armorers tool since it is intended in the building of a weapon and used primarily on a bench.

A "multi-tool" would be like the Gerber posted above, or the Samson Field Survivor http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=sho...roduct_id=1226 and it meant to be carried on one's person in the field due to its compact size and portability.

I know there are multiple armorers tools (DPMS, Olympic, etc) and I will be in the market for one soon as well. So I'm interested to see the opinions.

As always, correct me if I'm blowing smoke.

Thanks. I guess I am looking for an armorers tool then.

Has anyone ever used this Del-Ton tool?

I had a feeling you meant an armorer's wrench.

I've been using a DPMS for about ten years with no problems, but always felt the need for a three tooth castle nut wrench. I recently picked up a Bushmaster just to get that feature. My new BM looks just like that Del-Ton, should be good to go.

The BM was $24 shipped on eBay from user "pcarr614".

it's a 'Good Wrench' and well worth the asking price.
