Hi, I am new here. Recently I have a question. I want to hunt deers and I have an AR15. But I don't know how to choose a suitable accesory. Scope or dot sight, which one will be better for AR15 to hunt? I read an article about ar15 scopes. But I was still confused. Can you help me have a look?

Welcome to WEVO. You will find a lot varied, but helpful, opinions here. My personal opinion for your stated purpose (hunting) would be an LPVO, or Low Power Variable Optic. Something in the 1 to 5 or 3 to 9 range. A red dot provides no magnification, where a scope would allow more precision at any distance, spell that humane harvest of the animal. You have probably already checked, but I feel I must add ... be sure the state where you intend to hunt permits that caliber. Some states have a minimum caliber for what is considered "big game".

I agree with Jerry on the scope. Also, KY is one of the states he mentioned that doesn't allow .223 ammo for deer hunting. Welcome to WEVO.
