What is the cheapest gun you would buy?

I saw the PSA thread and thought, what's everyones opinion about the cheapest carbine they would buy with confidence in its function and reliability?

I have a Colt, but was thinking about getting another one. However, I'm on a budget, and was thinking about the PSA. If PSA is not GTG, what is the cheapest gun you guys would go with?

The answer to your question is relative to the use your intending to make of the rifle. Are you plinking and having fun with it? Are you intending to stake your life on this weapon's functionality?
