New Guy from Georgia

Found the site surfing the web. I really liked the terchnical questions/answers I saw in the AR-15 Discussion section so decided to join.

I'm retired military and law enforcement, 20 years military and 22 years LE. I did a stint as a contractor in Afghanistan in 07 at Bagram AB near Kabul and down near Kandahar in the wonderful Afghan desert.

I'm a Colt and Glock armorer. I've been building ARs for a few years now but have picked up information on this site that I wasn't aware of so I enjoy learning and keeping abreast of current developments.

I build long range rifles on Savage actions and feel fortunate to have access to a 1k range in south Georgia to test my precision builds. I'm pushing 64 now but am open minded enough to always want to learn new things.
