Looking for an FSB for a pencil barrel

Does anyone make an F marked FSB for a 0.625" barrel?

If not, can I just run an FSB off an A2 lightweight and replace the sight post with a taller one?

there are f height .625" fsbs but I think they are very hard to come by. If you want a .625" barrel with a fixed FSB and a flattop other than a colt you're probably going to have to go with the taller post. Bushmaster sells one.

I bought two .625 "F" FSBs from CMMG a few months back, at they time they said they had plenty. They were about $30.

I wouldn't think they had A2 owners in mind when they designed these but then again this is my first lightweight build so I don't know much about these parts.

Probably the same supplier CMMG uses, but I'd assume they did the parking and QC in-house.

The CMMG on my wife's is great, though the pinning needed a touch more work after I bought that upper (assembly issues from when their backorder wait was 8mo)
