gas block question
just got a low profile Troy gas block from brownells, is it suppose to be drilled all the way thru where the gas tube goes, or closed off on one end? it just doesn't look right.

Not quite sure I (or others) understand your question. Got pix?
But if I am reading it right, there should only be one horizontal hole, blank to the front, with one cross hole for the retaining pin.Murphy's Law of Combat #15:

I have a YHM, and it goes through all the way as well. From what I understand it makes it easier to manufacture.
It is a non-issue re: function because the gas tube itself is capped at one end.WWW.TACTICALYELLOWVISOR.NET
