S.D.M.R. Build (Site Designated Moderator Rifle)
This is my first post here so allow me to introduce myself. My name is Randy and I am a moderator at ar15chatterbox.com and a hopelessly addicted Ar junkie. I am a member of several other Ar and Glock forums and I look forward to learning from you guy's. This is the start of a very special rifle for me. I commissioned Quentin Defense to build a special run of billet lowers for our website and I am very proud to have been a part of it. I hope you enjoy.......
S.D.M.R. Build (Site Designated Moderator Rifle).......
The package:
The Lower:
A couple shots of Jason's genius with the threaded roll pin replacement.....
Now how sweet is that?
And lets not forget the tension screw to make everything nice and tight........
The Timney 3lb. skeletonized trigger and RRA ambi-star. Oh and the Pmags drop free......
Not my best pics but here goes.......

This is cool, I'd say you're off to a great start. What are you planning for the other half? Any hints?

I like the trigger guard on those lowers. Would you mind posting prices for the stuff? I am looking into building a lower one day. Bugs me having 2 uppers and only one lower... Nice looking stuff though. I would add a B.A.D. to them.

I love the threaded bolt catch pin. Installing that pin is probably the trickiest part of a lower build. I wonder if it might work loose with hard use? Of course you'd use threadlocker ...
