Great looking shotgun. Wonder how the quality was when actually holding the weapon. Would have been much more interested in this shotgun if it were semi-auto or didn't have the switch to change over feed tubes. Innovative with the bullpup design.

Ive been watching the KSG as close as I can since I first got word of its development. A good fighting shotgun has always been a part of my repertoire. They have been smoothing out a lot of the initial problems the prototypes have and implementing some new features as suggested by prospective users. There is no other design that has the size, yet still carries a good length in barrel and carry the amount of firepower that the KSG does. Its really starting to come together as a solid platform and into a class all of its own. It still has a lot of haters. But people fail to recognize it as the completely new platform and design that it is. Its going to demand a whole new manual of arms, and for the individual to train with it as its own monster, the way it is. Im stoked about it. The only shortcoming true that I have seen so far, is Kel-Tec's distributors practices and how they fail to manage the products to ensure it gets out evenly across the market.

Nutnfancy has a series of videos featuring this innovative shotgun. I believe you'd have to train with it an awful lot to benefit from its features, but it certainly is a very interesting design:

I can see how you really need to be on your game to perform a tactical reload in the "field" but to have 15 shots with one pause to switch tubes seems to be a huge improvement over what we already have today especially if you are a civilian with limited training compared to what LEO's and military folks might have access to.

Not only is it shorter for dealing with close quarters situations inside the home but having 8 shots at the ready and then one flick of the switch (even if a little awkward) for 7 more is way more efficient than my 870 where I have 6 +1 and then I have to reload or switch to a secondary weapon.

Now, not having played with one at all and only seeing a couple of vids on it I might be missing something. If that is the case can someone enlighten me? I do plan on picking one of these up after the early adopters work the kinks out.
