    The Geissele S2S Super Two Stage trigger

    I hate to be that guy, whose first post is pushing a product, but there aren't enough hours in the day for me to spend time on all the cool gun forums(that I haven't been banned from yet ;-))

    The S2S. The simple, reliable, Geissele design for $125. This is the same 3 piece, non adjustable design as the SSA series, but slightly less refined to save costs.

    The obvious change is the omission of the J pin in the hammer. In its place is a D ring, which captures the special Geissele hammer pin in an off center groove instead of a centered groove with the J pin.

    Anyhow. The Geissele S2s is in stock and shipping now if anyone is interested.

    Here are the differences/similarities between the Geissele SSA (Super Semi-Automatic) and Geissele S2S (Super 2 Stage)

    Similarities;

    Both are;
    2 stage combat triggers
    great reliability through high round counts
    same number of moving parts (same as the stock trigger)
    non-adjustable for weight and sear engagement
    same length of pull (total is about like stock trigger)
    same pull weight (about 4.5lb total, about 2lb on the 2nd stage break)
    same engineered in 'carrot like' break on the 2nd stage
    secondary safety sear for assurance that hammer cannot drop unless trigger is pulled
    easy drop in, no gunsmithing installation
    complete with all springs and pins
    strong, full power hammer spring for positive ignition of all ammo
    fast locktime(~5.1ms vs 10ms stock)
    same bow profile as M4 trigger
    no riveted or staked parts that can come loose
    no special tools are needed for installation

    Differences:
    no wire EDM of sear sharp edges, sears are milled which will not give the refined, velvety, buttery 1st stage feel of the SSA
    non-Tool steel construction (uses triple alloy steel)
    different way of holding hammer pin in (semi captive spring)
    no laser marking
    no QA tracking through lot numbers
    no 100% magnetic particle testing
    no slave pin or sear grease supplied
    only one version will be produced, no Enhanced or 3 Gun Style
    no large pin Colt triggers will be made

    Thanks for the review. I've been wondering about these.
