Smith & Wesson was also showing off a few new upper assemblies in the M&P15 line. This one will fire 300 Whisper or 300 AAC/Blackout. It features a 1 in 7.5 twist 5R rifled barrel that is Melonite finished with a carbine length gas system. The barrel is topped off with YHMs 5C1 flash suppressor (5/8-24 thread), and it's covered with S&W's free float quad rail.
