Very nice! Can you post a pic of where the HG mates to the upper? I'm interested to see how those 2 tabs on each side interact with the receiver. Also, what exactly do you mean by "minor gunsmithing required"?

The gunsmithing is referring to the removal of the delta ring and replacement of the barrel nut.
We add that to any ad that is for a handguard that is not a drop in replacement of the plastic handguards.

I have the SS in 12" on my 300whisper that I built last year. Its awesome but I had to cut one section between two holes out to get to my adjustable gas block.
