    My MOACKS III

While in the middle of writing my M.A. thesis, I fell upon a solution because of limited funds. I had spoken to Ned Christiansen who created the MOACKS II (among other things) about making me one for both the AR15/M16/M4 platform (yes, I used that word) and for the AR 10, LR 308, SR25 etc. I was too strapped for two different MOACKS tools.

Laying on the couch (taking a break from Medieval Arabic), i came upon the solution and suggested it to Ned Christiansen who came up with the way to machine a collar. In June of 2009 he sent me the beautifully machined MOACKS III.

Use the collar for M16 size and take it off for the SR25 etc. It worked like a charm and now I have the MOACKS III staking tool for both caliber families!

I did the write up and demo on m4carbine and armyparatrooper.org. That M.A. thesis is now in the preliminary process of being translated into Arabic and published in that part of the world. It is amazing how learning languages can help you problem solve!

So your goal is to get Arabs into the AR-15 - AR-10 building industry?
