NVG Pouch?
I'm wondering if there is anyone here able to give me some more informations about the pouch shown in this picture.
Looks like a padded/molle pouch which makes me think it is used to carry something breakable like NVGs.
I don't think it is S.I. but I've seen several pictures of US Marines carrying it in Afghanistan.
I would like to know who makes it and where i can find it.
Thanks for your help.Last edited by north-89; 2 May 2012 at 13:09.

I used to carry my NODs wrapped in a sock or my watch cap inside a canteen cup. Now I use a gp pouch with the Eagle nvg padded case. Its padded with a stiff plastic inside that can be somewhat adjusted for different widths. Fits both my pvs-14's with the swing arm or my psq-20's with no issues.

A GP, Nalgene, or Canteen pouch with a good hiking sock, or some of the white cellulose type styrofoam padding is more than enough, I've used each of those without issue. I suspect that's one of the PX bought BDS Tactical ones that comes with sewn in padding, but I'm not sure.

I use the hard case 100 from Tactical Taylor. 2 spare AA batteries fit in the lid.
