62 grain OTM bullets for handloads

We got 1000 of those FBI barrier bullets from Midway. They're made by Winchester. And in TYPICAL Win fashion, the cannalure isn't consitently located bullet to bullet.

We're going to to an accuracy test of these on Sunday with two good powders. I'm interested to see just how "match" these things really are.

The open tips are mean looking little monsters. Hope to water jug and barrier test them too.

What particular "barrrier" buster are you referring to? Are these the same as the 62 gn Surplus green tip "steel penetrators"?
    Thanks,
    FT.

LOL. As long as the weight is pretty consistent and the bullets are pretty uniform, they should shoot OK.

This is just a plain old Water jug test... not through any wall board or barrier material. 60% bullet weight retention.

These bullets aren't too bad. They're about an MOA bullet in a good rifle.

5 rounds through a White Oak barreled AR..

Here's two 5 round groups shot on the same target out of a Rem 700 5R..
