This is my birthday present from my husband. I wanted a big girl pistol for my EDC.

If one G19 is good, obviously two is better!
Two is one and one is none.

I saw this a few days ago... Looks like that 3D printing has come quite aways...

That is one of the more impressive models. It's at least a year old too ... things are just getting better.

The cool thing is once you have the model, you can print it using various technologies. So this could be made with metal using DLMS (Direct Laser Metal Sintering) and possibly function.

3D printing is being used more and more for direct manufacturing instead of just prototyping. Convincing folks of this however, is damn near impossible. Just wait a few years ...

I can't imagine where 3D printing will be in the next 5-10 years. Exciting stuff. Then again, I was just impressed with the threaded end you put the commercial tube in to protect the threads. Nice work Dave, and thanks again!

Thanks. That piece was used to determine the correct thread diameter for a model. I made a series of 1-8 IIRC (I think you got #5) and tested for fit. Sometimes due to material properties, you have to adjust allowances.

Just had it lying around, threw it on there for fun

Feel free to post a photo if you want; other people are probably like wtf lol?
