I got too many glocks, only 4 customized ones, the rest are basically stock, which is usually how I prefer them.

Out of curiosity, why would you change out the barrel on a Glock without going to a threaded one? Glock barrels are pretty outstanding, is it a different caliber or just for looks? Not hatin', just curious.

Dave some of the guys I know have changed their Glock barrels out because they wanted button rifling to shoot their lead reloads.

100% agree with you. I have other plans for the barrel, just threw it on for a picture.

Dave some of the guys I know have changed their Glock barrels out because they wanted button rifling to shoot their lead reloads.

Along with shooting lead and other stuff, tighter chamber/more case support, different twist rate...

But for me a glock isn't a Match shooting sorta pistol so a barrel is cool looking but myself would never throw that money out for one..

As beautiful as that is - and it is, I have this irresistible urge to chuck that slide up in the mill and shave a few thousandths from the start of the front serrations back. Or laser engrave "Can you hear me now?" in the pocket milled out there in the middle.

Yea I feel ya and wish I would have pushed to have them do that as well but it's all good. One of those function over form is what he was pushing.

I need to start hosting a "Grinds my Gears" blog or thread or video channel..

Obviously I put my perceived overuse of "function over form" into the category of things that get me all worked up.
