So it's more trouble than it's worth. I know their wrench is $120 then the URX around 250 used. Maybe I'm better off selling it for what I really want, which is the MOD 1. Thanks guys

If it was easy, (as I already have the wrench) I would have replaced both my URX2's with 3.1's.

Funny, as I prefer the URX 2. The 3.1 is fantastically light, but I don't like that I have to buy extra stuff to make it work the way I want, like a KAC handstop. Plus you're fairly locked in to light placement. What I do like about the 3 vs the 2 is being able to put a front sight where I want and not losing several rail spaces due to the flip up sight.

Either way, you got a nice rifle!

Hey let me know if you wanna swap. I've been seeing you guys love KAC never jumped on one then an awesome trade came my way and I took it. I spoke with Operation Parts and they said they could do the swap but I'd prefer the Mod 1. I'll keep ya posted, it'll never be a fil KAC due to N.Y. BS but for what it is it'll be nice

Finally got rolling on the first of three lowers. Cerakoted in Graphite black with a matte clear coat. Ordered all my parts this week as well.

Just need a trigger. I have Geissele's in all my other rifles so I may try the MBT. Hard to tell from the crappy cell phone pics but the furniture is stealth gray.

Thanks! Looking forward to testing out that UBR Gen2. Feels good on the shoulder...
