Yeah and quit looking at the dot. Your supposed to look at your target and the dot is in the background like a rear sight. Turn it down as much as you can as well. When I run my carbine course during the day I am adjusting the brightness several times when going from shaded areas to bright sunlight. I run T2's and T1's, they only bloom out when the brightness is to high for lighting conditions...

Everyone's eyes are different and some RDS work better for some than others. About every RDS I've run has bloomed out when I poured the juice to it, and none of them were budget. For me I've had better luck with the smaller dots.

I've quit being as picky with how dots like look. Now I'm just more interested with what my times look like. The RDS I've done the best with is a SRS, and it gets horrible reviews. I'm personally not a fan of a RMR on a rifle. Yeah it's lite, but it's got a very small window. I've turned in better times with a 1x6 than a RMR. I understand a RMR on a pistol where the lite weight may reduce the chance of cyclic problems, but for me on a rifle I'd rather have the bigger window.

That does help quite a bit.

Once I start shooting I don't look at it and I don't even notice the bloom unless I need to slow down or when sighting in.

They're made by KRISS, made of Polymer and the set is $83. I really like them!

They're actually pretty decent sights, but they aren't made in the US.

Where are they made at? Do you know? My new Sig sites are made in Israel.

That's a great starter kit man.

I've had the NV put aside for a few years, but just haven't pulled the trigger.
