    New INFORCE Pistol Weaponlight

    INFORCE announced earlier today via their Facebook (FB) page a new pistol weaponlight which made its debut at the "maneuver conference" - the 2012 U.S. Army Maneuver Conference held at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center, Columbus, GA. The only known detail thus far is that it will be powered by a single battery, presumably CR123, via a post by INFORCE to Soldier Systems who also announced the display of this new light at the conference. More details to follow when available.

    Update via INFORCE press release -

    The INFORCE Auto Pistol Light (APL) will have the following (preliminary) specifications:

    1. 200 lumens,
    2. run time of approximately 1.5 hours,
    3. bilateral and ambidextrous paddle switch,
    4. momentary and constant on modes,
    5. fiber construction,
    6. dimensions of 3 inches long x 1.2 inches wide
    7. 2.83 ounce weight, including batteries,
    8. black in color,
    9. proprietary quick-mounting clamping system, and
    10. shipped with two rail mounting bars (for Glock and 1913 rails).

    The APL are expected to be available in late October 2012.

    Available for PreOrder at IWC! As an Authorized INFORCE Dealer, IWC will be the first to receive these when INFORCE launches them in late October!

    I was about to order an X300 from Brownell's and I saw this thread, I am very interested in one of these for my XD.

    200 lumens, a single 123A and the price tag are hard to ignore.
