Kydex holster and accessory manufacturer PHLster announced yesterday the development of an outside-the-waistband single magazine carrier via his Facebook (FB) page, the link of which can be seen here.

According to Jon, the proprietor of PHLster, this new carrier will replace his original design which is the common modular "pancake" style magazine pouch he and nearly every other kydex holster maker produces. Jon states on his FB video his older style of carrier while modular, allowing the pouches to be carried in different ways such in-the-waistband or on the PALS of a vest, armor carrier and/or "battle" belt with the appropriate loops, was usually carried OWB on a belt. Making this change makes for a lower profile carrier, translating to more room on a person's belt.

The switch to the new carrier will take place in December. No prices have been announced. Updates to this new carrier can be found via PHLster's FB page, here, website, or here. Lastly, PHLster has a YouTube page, located here, where he selflessly provides instruction on how to make your own kydex holsters.
