    TD/ADM

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I received a T&E unit to day from Tango Down and this is one great thought out piece of equipment.

I installed it on several rails of different makes and it locked up solid and with some twisting and torquing stayed in place as designed.

I will have it at the range this weekend and run it through its paces and report back.

I really like the looks of this thing. I never got a TD grip because of their rail interface issues, but I might have to pick one of these up.
Let us know what you think.

How does it differ from the standard TD VFG?

It has a ADM QD system built right into it. This is a good piece of gear.

I'll have to look at that. I have the standard TD on my workhorse.

I've only played around with the ones at SHOT. Let us know what you think, I had hoped to get one to play around with awhile back, but somehow I think I'll live not being the first kid on the block with new toys.

MM should have a review out fairly soon I would think as well.

The appearance of the actual product for sale would be nice too...

Its not uncommon for a company to get out samples before a full product release. I ended up with one, and I'll get pictures up in a little bit.

My initial thoughts on this are that anyone who likes the TD VFG, will like this at least as much. The release is quick, and engagement is positive and without wobble or play.

Slack and movement is the problem with mine now, although it doesn't really bother me. The original starts out extremely tight but then wears to where it has slack. It could be a good piece of gear provided they don't ask too much for it...
