    This is my M4-ish fun gun. Why you ask? because it doesn't have all that shit hanging on it and it's light and handles like a dream. I'm trying to decide if I need a 13" CMR in M-Lok and it'll be a done dealio. Long term, it'll probably get a micro and a scalarworks mount, but that's it; I don't want this one getting heavy a bunch of tactical crap.

    It works great for the shooter. Barely any felt recoil with a stock carb buffer and JP spring. I've tried it from a dusty prone position and it blows less than a birdcage, or my DD advanced flash hider. It doesn't hurt that SLR makes dead sexy metal.

    Now, if you're spotting, you want to be back a bit from the shooter or your concept of gas face will be revised.

    I'm hoping to find a Griffin taper mount flashcomp in the original version to replace it, which gives a very similar appearance plus the ability to mount my Alpha, when the day comes that I can choose to do so.
