Well, magic just happened in our home tonight. Our Original Mountain Curs, Ben and Gracie, had their babies tonight. One boy, one girl - both with natural bob tails and double dew-claws (sought after features in the breed).

Awesome puppies. Brought some joy to my life while I'm out here in the snow waiting for a deer to walk past

So when we were growing up my grandfather is the person that taught my brothers and I how to shave. To this day my brother still shaves the way my grandfather taught us...old school style. He still uses the brush and shave soap and the old school safety razor. While browsing some of my favorite IG business I noticed that DogHouse Forge was doing a guest artist series on his feed and was even selling their stuff from his website. Now we have a cheese board from DogHouse and a very nice cheese cleaver from him as well. His work is top notch and the craftsmanship in it shows, but what caught my eye was a shaving brush and bowl made by Woodys Pen Werks. Seeing the bowl and brush set made me immediately think about my brother. After talking to Woody via email I picked out a shaving set for my brother and made the purchase. My brother has received the set already and put it to use and loves it. I know it is something he will use for a long long time.
Just a regular guy.

This is a beautiful place to live. It's a good thing we were able to use my wife's inheritance to buy our home outright though. There isn't much work around here and we live on basically $14,000 a year of income. But, since there are no house payments it's doable.
