I rarely drink anymore. Not that I don't like to.. But when I was younger I drank to excess. Go figure but I've got an addictive personality When my kids were born I basically gave it up.

Maker's is made 15 miles away though, so I end up taking the factory tour with family and friends a couple times a year. You can buy a bottle while your there and hand dip the wax yourself so we've ended up with quite a collection. The "cask strength" in the photo is a limited run they did last year.

I can't drink like I used to when I was younger. It's quality over quantity for me these days. I'd love to do the distillery tour. And I'm generally a fan of cask strength bottlings, regardless of who's name is on the label.

It's a new world, my man. Gotta keep track of who's coming and who's going...... can't have any of those left coast liberals hanging around...or, as always of course, northern Yankees, ha..ha...ha.. We shot all the wildcats, well except for the basketball team members....they're special...

It's easier than you think man. The planets take about 5 minutes to do. You'd be surprised at what you can come up with once you know a few tricks.

I was finally able to get a glimpse of the piebald deer that I was talking about before. She's like a ghost in the woods around here, especially with snow on the ground. She's also a LOT more skittish than the other deer, so getting close is difficult to say the least. Also, when I saw her the sun was directly in front of me which didn't help at all. I still haven't come up with a longer lens, so I'm shooting it with the 18-55 and having to crop a lot. I downloaded Picasa to edit pics with and it seems pretty neat. Here are a couple of the better shots I ended up getting:

I know very little about deer and such but that is a pretty animal.

Talk about the ultimate in passive camo.

Beautiful creature. I wouldn't shoot it even with a doe license in hand.
