First Look - Fortis Manufacturing 14" REV™ Rail - Prototype

I do not have a lot of information on the mid-length version of the Fortis Manufacturing Mid-Length REV Rail, though from my measurements, it is approximately 14.75" in overall length and somewhere around 11oz from my non-digital scale.

ETA: Just received an update from Fortis Mfg that stated that the rail is measured at 14" and weighs 10.4oz in the raw.

Here is a teaser photo of the prototype:

*Note...the rail does not have an anodized finish on the prototype.

It is actually going to be listed as 14" and weighs 10.4oz. And I'm just going off the information that I have been given.

Thank's to you (you pointed out the ucwrg sets) the wife has picked out UCWRG lower/upper set and she is looking for a lightweight setup. This should do the trick.

It would not fit out of the box on my M6A2. Looks awesome, but the piston cup is too wide for the top part of the rail. There is a guy on the LWRCi forum that made it work, but he must have better machining skills than a dremel tool and some cinder blocks to hold it in place.
