Damn, thanks. I guess it's going to be the Rainier Arms set then. Would have been smoking hot from Noveske tho.

The N6 line is making a return 4th quarter this year according to Noveske.

Anyone have photos of a thunder ranch 14.5 factory rifle? Their website photos don't match their posted specs..

    Edit:

Obviously this joint project between Noveske & Clint Smith had many rolling iterations over the years. I'm trying to build a clone but was getting confused about which parts to use.

2011 Stickman photo had a Gen 2 Lower, Vltor MUR-1S upper, and a troy rail.

Current Noveske Website shows a Gen 2 Lower, Vltor MUR1s and a NSR 11, but specs say Gen 3 receiver.

And to further muddle it wide open armory is selling a Gen 3 TR marked upper and g3 lower with 11" nsr.

After using a 14.5 skinny chf barrel..Mix and match to my hearts content?

The Thunder Ranch rifle on Rainier Arms website is also the Gen 3 with TR marked upper (minus forward assist), and 11" NSR. I say grab a 14.5" skinny barrel, and build the version you like best. Although, getting your hands on a gen 3 upper minus the forward assist might be a bit tough lol.

Was planning of using my gen 2 lower with my std. Mur-1s, our 13.5 NSR (no 11 unfortunately) & the 14.5" skinny chf noveske barrel I just picked up.

Obviously it will be a TR "themed build" and not real but I'd still like to stay fairly close to the original layout if possible.

What would be the correct FH for a build like this? Having a hard time on this one as it will need to be pin/weld and I plan on adding a can to the rotation sooner then later and don't want to mess around removing a welded device. Thanks yall

Looks like the AAC Blackout non-mount is what's on the factory gun.

I did a similar build a couple of years ago, although i never really intended it to be a TR clone or anything. I used a Chainsaw Gen 2 lower, standards Noveske marked forged upper, 14.5" skinny barrel, 13.5" NSR, and pinned a BattleComp 1.5 to it. It's one of my favorite builds.

Not my best picture I've ever taken, but one of my favorite rifles I ever built. Noveske lower/upper, endplate, rail, charging handle, takedown pins, barrel, gas block, buis.
