Sig Sauer P227 Now Shipping
Sig Sauer is shipping their P227. This new pistol is chambered in .45 ACP. The P227 is similar to the P220 in size, and is able to use the same slide as the P220. What the P227 gains over my P220 is a slim double stack magazine and is currently offered in 3 flavors: The P227 Nitron, Nitron Carry, and SAS Gen 2
MORE POWER PER SQUARE INCH
The new, remarkably ergonomic SIG P227™. It’s a .45ACP that holds 10+1 rounds — but you’d hardly know it from the thinness of the grip. Take hold of this high-power, high-capacity pistol and you’ll see first-hand how we’ve stacked the odds in your favor.

Do you know if they offer a threaded barrel and "suppressor sights"?

Same as P220
I assume the slide is the same as the P220 since it says you can use them. So am wondering if i can just purchase a lower and put my 220 slide on it.

Question for someone who's held one, is the grip about like a 226?
