    Painted Weapons

Ok here is my newest build just weighting on a gas block so I decided to paint her and her everything all set.

    ARP 14.5" barrel
    RedX arms upper receiver
MI gen II mid length HandGuard
    Spikes SP14 lower
    NEA CCS stock
M68 CCO on a LaRue mount
Did a classic Russian stile grey and brown cammo scheme

Painted my brother-in-law's shotgun in the ole Pinestraw method. Haven't removed the blue painter's tape yet at time of photo.

Here is my LWRCi IC, not pictured is the B5 Bravo stock painted at the same time. I use OD Green, FDE, Tan, Brown, and light tan. Laundry bags of different sized "nets" for a varied look.

    Nice setup.

Unrelated but I broke the mount for my SureFire helmet light like that one and have no idea where to find a new one

Couldn't let this thread die. Put a Bushnell 2-7x .22 Rimfire scope on my .22 bolt gun and taped it off/painted to match

And camo'd guns DO blend in (unpainted FDE PMags...not so much)

Sorry I missed this. That surefire mount is a Franken Mount. The tangodown adapter cut in half screwed into the Ops-core arc rail adapter. Its really the only way to mount a surefire on an airframe.
Check out militarymorons.com thread about it.

Haven't painted the new scope yet but I'll get to it soon enough

Should have some range pics in a couple days when the weather clears up

My R700 .308 after a morning hunt. Saw one but didn't want to shoot him...little spike.
