Officer back from final work. Wilson magwell install, high cut and 30lpi checkering, flushed up the bushing and plug. Benchmark Precision did work on this one.

Griffon,
Where did you get the grips in your last few pictures? I would like some fancy ones for my build.

The black Micarta on the officer is from Davidson knives, now out of business. I've had several made by Derwood Mfg, great people to work with, and fit the frame a bit better than VZ. Taylor is good people, should hit him up ~ http://www.derwoodmfg.com/Shop/grips/1911
The ones on Jerry's Ruger are from Sarge ~ http://shop.thefinergrain.com/
The Desert Ironwood on the above Commander were done for me by Cherokee HIlls Grips from a set of scales I had here at the house. Derwood also worked up a set for me from scales. http://cherokeehills.biz/Page-/-Category-1

Actually, the only two pistols that have a non-factory finish on them are the Para-Ordnance and the Colt Commander. Both of those were done by Roguard - NP3, and those two don't really photograph well (not at my skill level anyway). All the rest are (still) factory finish. I tend to stay with factory hard chrome or stainless. With the carry rotation I have setup, the only one showing holster wear so far is the S&W Performance Center CQB in 45.
Sorry, there is one other ... I bought parts and pieces as factory seconds back in the 70's and put together a Series 70-ish Colt Government sized 1911 and then purchased a Colt 22 ACE kit for it. I sent it to Bill Wilson and he hard chromed everything to match. Just thought of this one as I was typing.
Wish I could be more help, but I have not been able to put enough rounds through a firearm (or enough draw cycles) to warrant refinishing.NRA Benefactor Member

This is a photo of the "other" non factory finish; the one I cobbled together from factory seconds. Playing with Focus Stacking to see if I can get increased depth of field.
