How's Guinness Black Lager? I've been meaning to try it, but I've been sticking with Guinness Draught and Foreign Extra Stout due to availability.

It's definitely a "must have" item, but I bought two just for that photo ! Thought it would be a hoot.
I love Guinness - any type. I was lucky enough to go to Ireland on a business trip and had "The Real Thing." Smooth as cream and nectar of the Gods.
The Black Lager is my favorite currently. Not a lot of bite, nice texture - enough to tell it is a true "dark", and great flavor.Last edited by Jerry R; 20 October 2013 at 09:09.

I'll have to definitely give the Black Lager a try. You're right Jerry, I don't know what it is, but there's something about having a pint straight from the source while looking out over Dublin.
