    Flash Suppressor installation?

    Do you need to use any moly grease or antiseize compound when installing a flash suppressor on an AR (or on any other firearm, for that matter)?

    No, just the FS and a crush (or peel) washer if the FS requires a washer.

    Cool--thanks. I had a Smith Vortex waiting in my toolbox for when I got the upper back from Sabre so I'll snug it down (but not too much--5 lb/ft really isn't a lot) and call it good.

    Remember that no washer is used when installing the Vortex FS.
