Tactical Clothing Options

Hi all,
My unit's SOP is plain clothes/concealed body armor, with the frequent need to don a tac vest.
What I am looking for is a sweater/sweatshirt/fleece to wear immediately under the tac vest when it's nice and frosty out.
The problem I am encountering is a complete lack of this type of clothing that will ride ABOVE the belt line, allowing access to my entire belt. Lots of nice stuff out there that goes below with the side zips, but none at/above.

I am open to suggestions....

Vertex has some nice stuff that I've worn for something very similar

I don't wear a vest for a living, but it sounds like you may have to just get some clothes altered. Even the "tactical" stuff normally isn't cut above the belt line.

+1 for Vertx. Love their pants. Even my wife loves them, and she hates khaki style pants on me.
